Problem Note 59975: When you use a device that does not support zHPF, you receive "WARNING: The newest volume does not support zHPF..."

You might see the following WARNING message in the SAS® log if the device where the library resides does not support zHPF:
WARNING: The newest volume does not support zHPF, channel program generation is switching to CCW format.
This problem occurs when you are using SAS® 9.4 TS1M3 with the hot fix from SAS Note 59070 applied or SAS® 9.4 TS1M4 and later releases.
This WARNING message does not affect the return code for the job and can be ignored. The message is provided to inform you that SAS is reverting to the CCW format for I/O because the device does not support zHPF. This format does not provide the I/O performance benefits available with zHPF.
This message will be downgraded to a NOTE or INFO type message in a later release of SAS.
